Terms of Use

MARQAM is an independent online marketplace and advertising platform for UAE vehicle number plates.

MARQAM is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the UAE Government, RTA, any police authority, vehicle registration authority or other government entity.

Plate visuals shown on MARQAM are marketplace illustrations only and are not official registration documents.

MARQAM allows sellers to advertise UAE number plates and allows buyers to discover listings and contact sellers directly.

MARQAM does not own the plates, act as buyer or seller, collect the purchase price of a plate, guarantee ownership, or complete plate transfers.

Any sale and official transfer is arranged directly between buyer and seller and must be completed through the appropriate UAE authority.

Users must provide accurate information and keep their login credentials secure.

Users are responsible for activity performed through their account.

MARQAM may restrict or suspend accounts where fraud, abuse, misleading activity, unauthorised access or violation of these Terms is suspected.

Sellers confirm that:

• they are legally entitled to advertise the plate;
• listing details and asking price are accurate;
• the listing is not fraudulent, misleading or unlawful;
• they will follow applicable UAE transfer procedures; and
• they will update or mark a listing as sold when it is no longer available.

MARQAM may edit, hide, suspend or remove inaccurate, duplicated, fraudulent, unlawful or inappropriate listings.

Buyers are responsible for independently verifying:

• plate ownership;
• seller information;
• plate details;
• transfer eligibility;
• applicable authority fees; and
• legitimacy of the transaction.

Users should complete transfers only through official UAE channels.

Asking prices are set by sellers.

MARQAM does not guarantee market value, buyer interest, sale completion or the availability of any listing.

MARQAM does not currently process payment for the purchase of a number plate.

Standard listings are free unless otherwise stated.

MARQAM currently offers optional advertising promotions:

• Featured — AED 49 for 7 days
• Premium — AED 99 for 30 days

Promotion payments are for increased advertising exposure only and never represent payment for the plate itself.

Promotion does not guarantee views, enquiries, offers or a sale.

A paid promotion activates only after payment is successfully verified.

After expiry, the listing returns to Standard unless another promotion is purchased.

Featured includes 1 Instagram Story and inclusion in 1 grouped Instagram feed post. Premium includes 1 dedicated Instagram feed post, 2 Instagram Stories on separate dates and placement in the AVAILABLE Highlight for up to 30 days while the listing remains available. Standard listings may occasionally appear in Story roundups at MARQAM's discretion, but this is not guaranteed.

Instagram features are organic promotions on MARQAM's official Instagram account (@marqam.ae). Paid Instagram advertising is not included. Promotions do not guarantee enquiries or sales.

By listing, you allow MARQAM to display the plate number, code and listing details in promotional content. Private seller information is never shown.

Once a paid promotion has started, fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law, for a verified duplicate charge, or where a MARQAM technical failure prevents the purchased promotion from being provided.

Listings removed for violating these Terms may not qualify for a refund to the extent permitted by law.

Paid promotions may be processed by third-party payment providers such as Stripe.

MARQAM does not store full card numbers or CVV/security codes.

Users may save listings and create search alerts.

Alerts and notifications are provided for convenience only. MARQAM does not guarantee that every matching listing will trigger a notification or remain available.

MARQAM may display aggregate statistics such as:

• views;
• saves;
• shares; and
• WhatsApp/contact clicks.

These statistics are informational and may use duplicate or abuse filtering. MARQAM does not guarantee perfect accuracy.

Users must not:

• submit fraudulent or misleading listings;
• advertise plates they are not entitled to advertise;
• impersonate others;
• scrape or harvest personal information;
• misuse seller contact details;
• bypass security or access controls;
• interfere with MARQAM systems;
• introduce malicious code;
• manipulate analytics, payments or promotion status; or
• use MARQAM for unlawful activity.

MARQAM branding, original website design and original platform content belong to MARQAM or its licensors as applicable.

Government names, plate identities, logos and other third-party marks remain the property of their respective owners.

Their visual representation does not imply government affiliation or endorsement.

MARQAM may modify, suspend or discontinue platform features when necessary.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

These Terms may be updated from time to time and the latest version will appear on this page.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MARQAM is not responsible for losses resulting from:

• transactions between users;
• false or inaccurate user information;
• a buyer or seller failing to complete a transaction;
• inability to transfer a plate;
• changes in plate value;
• authority fees or procedures; or
• indirect losses related to marketplace use.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

These Terms are governed by applicable laws of the United Arab Emirates.
